mission & purpose
Shaping the early stages of Competitive Retrievers
Originally from Headland, AL, Caleb fostered a love for training the working dog at an early age. By fourteen years old he built his first “kennel” originally filled with his first love, hounds. Caleb made the progression from Beagles to Blueticks and frequently trained multiple high point hounds. Through his early teens, his training evolved to birddogs and retrievers. By the age of fifteen his first force fetch table was built, and the early stages of his obsession with retrievers began. Due to a desire to grow and understand animal behavior better, Caleb went on to study Animal Science at Auburn University and continued training retrievers throughout college. After graduating Caleb worked with detection K9s and quickly became a lead trainer, all while steadily shaping the behaviors of young retrievers. Ultimately, Caleb focused his attention solely on shaping the early stages of competitive retrievers.
Personal life
Similar to retrievers, the foundation of who we are is critical. Who Caleb is as both a person and trainer stem from his faith and family. They are the core of who Caleb is and provide that solid foundation.
Outside of talking k9 behavior, Caleb loves date night with his wife Emily, running around outside with his son Brooks, and cheering on all things Auburn University.
